Well we can’t say that took long. After 6 days the guys down at AllDroid.com have done it. We now have root on the DroidX.
Note that this is just root (the ability to run commands on your device as su). The bootloader has yet to have been unlocked, but knowing the hackers we’ve got working on this, I say that’ll be fixed in a month or so.
