Where Can I Get One? (And for how much?)
All signs point to a release date of January 5th at 9 am. A new Android for the new year, it seems. Also, signs indicate the sales page for this phone to be www.google.com/phone which returns a nice 404 for now. There will be a limit of 5 phones per Google account, coming at the price of $530 for an unlocked phone or $180 for a subsidized phone through T-mobile. The subsidized price is only available if you sign a 2-year contract @ 79.99 / month for web + texting + phone, so it might end up being cheaper just to get the unlocked device based on the plan you have right now.
Where Can I Find Out More?
The Internet is abuzz with info about the Nexus One, including a site dedicated to this device: http://www.nexusoneblog.com/. This site is staying on top of the rumors, and is even sponsoring a Nexus One giveaway, so check it out sometime.
