There are certain utilities that should come preinstalled with your phone. One such utility is a general phone security program to prevent theft of your phone and to secure the data you store on your precious device. Though there have been several programs entered into the Android market that either lock your phone, protect your data, or provide tracking services for your lost phone, there has not been a comprehensive security suite that handles all of those functions.

WaveSecure is a utility that does just that. From their blog, TenCube has developed an application that allows you to:

Lock your phone remotely to prevent unauthorized access to your phone
Track your phone’s location and the SIM changes in your phone (even if your phone is not with you!)
Backup your contacts, SMS, media and call logs

Remotely wipe your data on your phone and memory card

Stronger anti-hacking support. Right now you can just manually uninstall the application if you hook the phone up to a computer and have some Android know how…
