
I am not usually one to jump on the bandwagon of people antagonizing the IPhone. Its a good product, that works well for the generic high-end chic user who’s perfectly fine with I-lifing though his I-phone before he I-jogs with his I-pod down I-street in I-neighborhood only to return his I-Home and androgynous I-wife. Needless to say I-don’t fit into that template. I prefer a platform where I am free to customize, hack and code to my heart’s content, while at the same time I can depend on the platform to work when I need it. No wonder my favorite operating system is Ubuntu…
Anyhow back on the I-farm, Apple confirmed the death of Sun Danyong, worker for Chinese manufacturer Foxconn on Tuesday. His final sin? Losing his prototype 4th generation iPhone. Apparently he faced serious questioning and even some articles foretold of illegal searches of the man’s apartment and interrogation involving physical abuse by other Foxconn employees.
